Has anybody had any luck booking cheap flights through airasia.com
current promotion? The Korean newspaper advertised as low as
60,000 Korean Won from Incheon>Malaysia (KL), but I can't seem to locate any of those flights. The cheapest return flight I can get on their site
seems to be around 230,000 Won return and that does NOT include:
- the ability to pick your seat
- check-in luggage
- in-flight meal
Those are all extras.
Anybody else have any luck? If so .... HOW? |

Yeah I got a flight in November for 130,000 return, but that was at 1 am this morning, right when the promotion started. Normally, these promotions only apply to a limited number of seats on each flight and not at peak times. I would guess that the majority of promotional seats at decent times (ie weekends) have already been snapped up. You can book for flights until next August, so you might have better luck if you try dates further in the future. |

Thanks Binch Lover ~~~ you were right. I changed the dates for MUCH further in the future and got a return ticket for 111,131.58 Korean Won
(taxes included - but no meal and I didn't choose my seat ^^). The only
problem is that I really don't have any idea if I'll be in Korea at that time.
Anyway ~~~ thanks a lot. |

i saw a flight for around the date I finish my contract for 30,000 one way (ended up at 72,000 including tax and baggage check in)
I will have a word with my boss in a few weeks and find out the exact date I finish so I can book that ticket and travel around s.e asia a little more. |

I booked a roundtrip in January and it was 30,000 each way, came to 106,000 total. I had to try a bunch of different dates to find the cheap price though. |

Still, it's a deal any way you slice it. I will say going to Bali has gotten more convenient and cheaper because of Air Asia, though I'm gonna go after that island gets its rabies outbreak in order. |

I havent found any flights for less than 400.000 return..
they seem to all be around 195.000 one way..
doesn't seem like a great deal after all...
plenty of other airlines can get me 400.000 Rt to thailand off season and I can get 100% mileage and meals... and then catching an Air asia flight from bangkok to Bali or KL from there for peanuts...
anyway, keep lookingl.. |

And $40 or so of tax. Are you referring to Tiger Airways?

I grabbed a one way at the advertised rate on November 1st (My last day of work), it came to 70,000krw all told. My girlfriend and I are heading to Borneo for 2 weeks or so, then a week or so on the beach somewhere (Thailand or Bali?) before heading to India Nepal. |

My wife and I booked a return flights for next year from Incheon-KL-Incheon for total price of 264,858 Won for both of us and that include check in luggage for up to 20kg, convenience fee, and airport tax & fees.
I think that's bloody cheap and can't be happier with the deal. |
