| My husband and I have gotten all of our visa documents ready to go to a university that really wants to hire us. We are a little worried though since there is just 3 weeks to process the visa before their classes start up. Worse case scenario, what if they fill our positions (this has already happend once to us)? Would we still be able to use that E 2 visa? We have another job offer that starts at the end of September that we could use it for. Please any advice you can give would be amazing! |

You could NOT use the visa. The school who obtains your visa, owns it, you do not.
If you are ready to leave, it is possible to get the visa done, get a consular interview and be there in three weeks. But it has to get started now.
Talk to another teacher at the school and see what is going on. If they will not let you talk to a teacher, dont send the documents. |
