|

I have about 6 days of vacation coming up and I need some ideas on how/where to spend it.
I've already done central Japan, Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai), Taipei, and Hong Kong.
I would love to do Shanghai or Beijing, but I wont have my arc extended in time to get a visa.
I'm also not much of a beach person.
So all that being said...any ideas for a relatively inexpensive vacation? I dont mind spending some money. |

Don't do China for a vacation. Go to a beach or serene place in Southeast Asia but depending on when you're going, getting tickets can be tough. |

| Almost all the tourists love China so big ?????? on your remark. They said they are not much of a beach person. I still feel like I am on vacation after 8 months in Shanghai. |

I actually have interest in visiting Myanmar but I'm not sure how I feel about the current regime and I hear that tourism there helps to support it.
please let me know if I'm misinformed. |

Yeah I cant swim and I hate sand, but I do like serene places. That being said I like to experience cultural places on my vacation. I'm not a "check-list tourist", but I'm not far from it.... |
