I recently went to Thailand to try to get a C-3 (tourist multi-entry) visa, but was told by the embassy in Bangkok that they don't give them out anymore. So, I came back on a one-month tourist visa (from Incheon Airport), that is now about to expire.
Has anyone (American) been able to, recently, get a C-3 in Osaka -- or anywhere, for that matter?

In Atlanta, Georgia, USA, no problem.
I guess you wanted something a little closer to Korea.
Perhaps they are suspicious of your intent. |

If any American out has any experience (recent) getting a C-2 in Japan or wherever... lemme know. |
