Does anyone know how long it takes to get the FBI background check back? I submitted mine three weeks ago and I'm just wondering how much longer I should expect to wait.

It'll take 8-12 weeks if you sit and wait.
OR
You can contact your congressman/woman like I did, and have him/her contact the FBI to expedite it.
Your choice.  |

| Does anyone know what charges come up on an FBI check? I got a conviction for PI (Public Intoxication) and I was charged another time as well. Do I have any chance of getting a visa so I can teach? |

In Thailand, I heard you could get FBI background checks with appostile within 5 minutes.   |

how much did you have to kick back to your congressman? 'Cuz I imagine gettubg a Charles Rangel-type to do it for ya would cost ya... |
