I think my sex ed class was in grade 8 or 9. I remember the terrible cheesy 70s/80s videos we had to watch. Basically we got taught the science of it, and then the 'safety'. I remember having to put a condom on a fake *beep*. That was embarassing.

I can imagine that they probably have cheesy videos in the Korean MS/HS as well.

My students didn't have a sex ed class.

However, they had a very intimate knowledge of major internet porn sites.

"Teacher!! Go to redtube!!"

Yeah...nice try.

My school in China didn't have sex-ed... but it's not like China could block out ALL the porn on the internet...

I actually had to teach from a conversation text book with one lesson dedicated to sex ed. Thank goodness the girls were in high school and we had a pretty close relationship or it would have been horribly awkward. In any case, one of the discussion questions was "What ways can you prevent the spread of HIV/Aids" and one girl replied "Wash your hands frequently."
I asked her where she got that information and she said that her teacher at school told them.

Not quite sex-ed, but this "Can we date" flowchart could be a very amusing way to look at various social and sexual concepts with your adult students.
