If you are using Vista...
Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Regional and Language Options > Keyboards and Languages > Change Keyboards > Add Input Language > Korean (Korea) > Keyboard > Korean
If you're a good typist I wouldn't bother buying a separate keypad. It didn't take me long at all to learn to type Hangeul even without Hangeul-labeled keys. The Hangeul keyboard is very logical. Consonants are on the left, vowels are on the right. On the consonant side, obstruents (ㅂㅈㄷㄱ) are in the upper row, nasals and liquids (ㅁㄴㅇㄹ) are in the middle row, and aspirated consonants (ㅋㅌㅊㅍ) are in the lower row.
Just practice while looking at a Hangeul keyboard layout and you'll pick it up quicker than you think. |

+1
I didn't bother buying a separate keyboard either but I did originally write the hangeul keys on with a silver sharpie marker and by the time it wore off I had the strokes memorized.

Or, if you're not so confident about memorising the hangeul layout, buy the stickers from Linko (but buy the flat ones. I've read elsewhere on this forum that the raised ones can screw with your screen). |
