Hey,

I sent my visa docs to Korea last week, but like a fool I only sent them Air Mail - the most basic of methods. I regret that. I was told it would be 5 working days depending on the postal system in Korea. Can I expect it to arrive soon or is it likely to take another week or so?

I'm a bit concerned because the recruitment was a bit rush-rush so I don't want them to start looking at more immediate options. Grrrr.

You may be lucky. I've had stuff take between 2 and 6 weeks to arrive.
A lot depends on how the adress is written, how heavy it is, etc.
If you've put the adress in Korean as well as English I think it'll be quite fast.

Thanks for the response. The address is written in English...and it's a light package containg only half a dozen pieces of paper...suppose there's nothing I can do but wait. Tedious tedious wait.

The Korean postal service has improved at lot at reading english. Years ago i had stuff regularly sent back because they couldn't decipher it. But it should be fine now.

Papers, documents, bureocracy, red tape and officialdom were invented to sabotage peoples lives... Rolling Eyes

Anywhere between 4 days and 4 weeks. Make an image file to send to people back home with your full address in Korean. They're quite keen on opening things, I think about 50% of stuff I get has been opened.
