Almighty!!!!!

Do I ever hate concrete nails, and concrete walls by extension. For the life of me I can't get a nail more than 2mm into the frickin' wall before the nail head zings off, the concrete flakes, the nail bends, or some other calamity happens.

Urghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Hanging some pictures today.

Very Happy NO

Evil or Very Mad YES

You could try DRILLING a hole into the wall first.

This is, I figure, what must be done.

My tool box is a bit limited, and up till now I had a little success with the small nails.

Today I was going big, nope......

Oh for wooden houses.............

I have a drill that does the trick, but it's not necessary. I also have this little nail holder unit that makes it a lot easier to drive a nail into the wall.

My place is full of them too.
And they come in the greatest assortment of characters.
Currently on the Tweety collection.

Find the tool alley in your town and they have a tool which has a powder charge, like that for a bullet, which drives in the nail. You can get set up like this for about a hundred thousand won. 3am is best.

That cheap??? Wow!

I remember my dad using one of those nail-drivers that used a .22 powder cartridge to drive a nail into cement.

Pretty cool.

3am? Naw... 3:30... got to hit those Room Salon Ajummas about 30 mins after they go to sleep.

Borrow a drill. Those nail "hammers" that shoot the nail in also mean the nail is IMPOSSIBLE to get out. If your landlord will charge you for nails, that can be a pain.

Drilling means you can use a plug and a screw and take em out when you are done.

I hate those little Korean hooks. I always burn my finger or the hook trying to melt the glue. They have a tendency to fall off the wall, tearing the wallpaper. They don't hold a whole lot of weight. And they are ugly...I don't want the trendiest chracters on my walls, I want something white and invisible to display my Korean art.

Has anyone seen Command adhesive products in Korea? Where? Do they work on this Korean wallpaper?

IF the wallpaper is a problem, peel it off on the spot you want to put those adhesive hooks.

Boring a drill for your WJN or building security guard is probably the best way to get holes into the walls.

Either that or pay the guy with the bigass nail gun to come and shoot some into the wall: warning you won't be able to get them out of the wall.

Becareful with those cartridge gun nail thingys. Someone I know died as a result of one of those misfiring and it blew back into his head. He lay in his garage for about 24hrs till someone came to visit and found him. He died in hospital (no it wasn't suicide just a freak accident).
