However, like it or not we HAVE evolved.
I tried a low carb diet, high protien and fats etc and all I got was consitpation. |
Are you trying to say that we evolved more and faster in 20,000 years than in the previous million years? We have only been eating rice, potatoes, bread and mechanically extracted vegetable oil for a short time compared to our total evolution.
As for your problems, that is unsurprising. Most people have side effects when they drastically change their diet. And in fact I would say it is a mistake to instantly change. Slowly cutting out highly refined flour, sugar and vegetable oils will give you instant health benefits. Keeping in the rice and potatoes, at first, isn't going to hurt.
It's a good idea to pick the low hanging fruit first. eg, sugar, flour and vegetable oils, and add in a little fat (protein isn't as important). Some researchers believe more than half of the benefit from low carb diets comes from cutting out these obviously unhealthy food items. |

Diet, pilates, and calisthenics.
Don't cut out carbs, but change which carbs you're eating. Try not to have a very carb-laden meal at the end of the day. I have my carbs earlier on, which gives me more energy. If I eat them later in the day, I want to snack and can't sleep as well.
The pilates will shape your entire core, rather than just the love handles.
When I did calisthenics at the beginning of each BJJ training session, I worked far more than 30 minute of cardio. It's a bit rougher on the heart, but if you're fit, you should be able to handle it. Talk to your doctor first, of course! |

We seriously aren't meant to consume mass loads of sugar (which is what carbs are.) We simply didn't have access to those foods for fully 1 million years of our evolution. |
We didn't really eat meat until we developped the tools that let us hunt and carve animals. Are we meant to eat a diet of small fruits? |
The period of time that humans have had the tools to hunt and eat animals was much longer than the time we have been eating neolithic food types. Humans have been able to hunt animals for at least a million years. |

The only way to have nice abs/lean obliques is to lower your body fat percentage. To do that you need to cut your carbs and up your base metabolism. The easiest way to do that is low carb diets and lifting. |

Personally I would go to Bumrumgrad Hospital Bangkok. Very good hospital and inexpensive for the most part. |

Perhaps if you guys just ate rice and kimchi thrice a day, everyday, then you could be as skinny as a Korean. Just beware of the stomach fat |

I agree with all but the lifting. Pilates did it for me. |

Please stop with the ignorant low carb misinformation.
The only diet with hard scientific data to back it is '"The Zone". It's not high anything, but merely a way of balancing your diet and exercising regularly. |

Post some studies. I have no doubt the Zone is effective, in that it is relatively low carb (compared to what your nutritionist or govt bureaucrat will recommend), but in all the well performed studies I have encountered, low carb diets crush all comers. |

Intermittent fasting is another way to reduce fat.
Eating less over the coursed of a week, by doing a day or two of fasting without making up for it between fasts. You eat your regular diet, tweaked if you want.
There are many physical benefits, as well as spiritual benefits, to intermittent fasting for 16-24 hours. |

'Getting your legs done'? As in plastic surgery? Aside from lipo I didn't even know that was a thing. |
