do you enjoy living in Korea and do you intend on staying here for a prolonged period of time?
Korea is tolerantly livable for now.

I like that even though you have far too many options - A survey should be amounted equivalent to the number of volunteers to get any significant sense out of it - you don't actually have anything along the lines of 'I like it'

1) Money. It ain't great, but it's decent. And easy to get here, much easier than back home. It is a no brainer.
2) GF. She is an important factor...for now.
3) Vacations. I like the fact that Southeast Asia is close by and I can take nice vacations to places like the Philippines, Thailand, etc.

There are two troll threads in the general discussion forum tonight, and I find this thread suspect too.

Please don't give this guy the satisfaction of actually taking him seriously, and even if this guy is legit, his poll is inappropriate.

Just a heads up: any information you give here can be misconstrued and be used by certain journalists or anti-teacher groups to frame and blame teachers, whether innocent or not.

Yes, I love the Korea.....I thought it was part of the China, I don't speak the Korean very well, but I'd love to meet the Loveless and ask him/her why he/she posted something as inane as this, but then again, it's nothing worse than the usual the Dave's poster.

It's just that over the years I have seen these types of threads started by new posters that seem to be delving for certain, possibly incriminating information. I can't help but question the OP's motive for posting, and in any case, the poll is retarded.

i am so genuinely hurt by these accusations! Crying or Very sad

i am not a troll, whatever that means! Crying or Very sad

i just posted those choices because i've heard others that are here say thats why they are here...i never meant to insult, belittle, troll, or down right hurt anybody on this site or in the Korea. Crying or Very sad

i assume like many on here we write about our surroundings and present situation. research is everything in writing and from the beginning thats what i'm searching for. Sad

delete this thread if it offends; it's not what i intended by far! Embarassed

i am sorry. Crying or Very sad

The answer to the OP's question is both Love & Leave.

Foreigners leave Korea bitching about it, get home and see how hard things are there and love Korea and want to come back.

I've seen this with more than a few foreigners.

Yep, and easy to get to. Shit, I miss that. I'm back home and I need a car to get to the mountains. That really sucks.

There was a mountain walking distance from my school. I had it good.
