Ok.
Take a 5 pointed star. It has 5 triangles (one at each point). Now this is what you have to do: You can draw 2 STRAIGHT lines through it anywhere you like, giving it more triangles. Like this:

The object is to come up with 10 triangles from two lines drawn through the star. Good luck. All of my smartest kids cant do it, but apparently its possible. Dont look up the answer on the internet. I admit ive tried researching the answer, to no avail though.

Solved in about 58 seconds!

a hint on one possibility:

avoid the central pentagon

(actually, i haven't done the leg work, but i'm pretty sure the it's a red herring)

I did it myself without much problem, though it took me a bit longer than your 58 seconds, so hats off to you.

Technically you could say there's also three huge triangles if you allow for line dissection

I did it in less than 45 seconds while using my gochu as a pen as I took leak on the sidewalk.
