I was reading about this restaurant, and someone said its great, and not that expensive. But, this was 7 years ago. Is it still in Gwanghwamun, and if so, is it reasonably priced still? Any other good places to eat in that area would be appreciated as well! I'm there quite often

Thanks!

Yeah it's decent enough. Not wonderful but levels above the usual Korean chain Italian, beter than Pomodoro, which itself decent if a little basic.

They also have a deli counter where you can buy desserts and imported hebrs, oils, cheeses and pasta etc from Italy.

There's one in hongdae too! (Or is it Sinchon? Can't remember.)

Try it. It's not Real Authentic but it really is a cut above the rest outside of the high priced and more authentic Apgu / Hannam-dong places with real Italian chefs like Sorrentos etc.. I thought it beat La Tavoloa, the one below Hollywood Bar and Grill and that beats the Korean chain brands etc...

I guess if other Korean Chain Italian places are the Hite and Cass of lagers, Pomodoro is Bud / Fosters and the authentic places are Paulaner / Stella then Wood n Brick to me was Asahi / Carlseberg kinda level.

the Kwanghwamun Wood and Brick is no longer open. There are a few other Wood and Bricks around Seoul however.

The best, and I believe original, is very close to Samcheong-dong. I love the place.
