Title says it all. I've been in Korea for 4 years now and have over 10 million won in pension. I fantasize about using it for extended travel in Asia. If you've already taken it out, what did you do with it?

Do you plan to retire in Korea? If not you'll have to save it somewhere. I already have a Roth IRA back home that I max out every year. That should cover retirement. I think Korean pension money should be used for fun! Any ideas?

I did something similar. Back in '99 I had two job options, one requiring no funds as it was in my hometown, and the other halfway across the country required a reliable car which I didn't have. So I decided to let fate decide and took my last full paycheque from a job I'd ended and put all of it - minus a greyhound ticket's worth - on a horse at the race track, wanting something 10-to-1 to 15-to-1 but going with an 8-to-1 all in to win filly. It came in third and I was on the bus the next day back to the job at home, choice made for me. Very Happy Was fun as hell to let chance decide.
