this is something I did not know but wished that I knew.
As you might already know, EPIK requires FBI CBC starting Jan 2011.
When we were sending application to FBI, we did not know it needs apostille which might not matter anyway since apostille is done by State (FBI told me)
But some states require FBI CBC to be authenticated before apostille and FBI would not authenticate the CBC if you dont indicate that on your application.
Anyway, so we had to send seperate fax asking for authentication on CBC. By the way, it has been 6 weeks since we sent application and FBI does not even that application in system yet. |
