Mine is:
House of the Rising Sun by the Doors because I have a deep base voice.
And you? |

I'll mumble my through "Imagine" but drunkenly I once tried Roy Orbison's "In Dreams", that was a sackable offense I think in retrospect, |

Is that a cover version of the original one done by The Animals?
I haven't heard The Doors version but that is a great song.
Eric Burdon has a great voice and really puts his heart into that one.
I've given that one a try myself...that one and Cotton Fields by CCR run about the same vocal strength...little dated to be sure....but great fun. |

Killing Me Softly with His Song by Roberta Flack
It's even better if you're a terrible singer, because the laugh factor goes WAY up. |

Frank Sinatra's - My way
especially good with adjeosshis from school, etc.
(and my own subtle response to "Korean culture")
that song's range is in my vocal wheelhouse and sometimes I actually sound somewhat good singing it.
otherwise I give Would by Alice in Chains a shot
and "the Reason" by Hoobastank.
I've been singing along to "Yo no se manana" in school (Latin Grammy 2009 winner) while playing the performance video. love that song. My kids get a big kick out of THAT.

would love to get that at a noreabang |

I usually do the same few songs, every time:
Judas Priest- Breaking the Law
Pantera- Walk
2Pac- Life Goes On (ladies like that one because I rap good)
Frank Sinatra- My Way
I wish they had some Ice-T at the Noraebangs. |

"I am a Rock" by Simon and Garf.
"Sweet Caroline" by Neil D.
"The Letter" by the Boxtops
"Sugar Sugar" The Archies?
All easy to nail even in a stupor.
I used to sing "Creep" by Radiohead, but the lyrics tend to put my Korean buddies in a bad mood.
If I'm with a group of Koreans, I let them sing "My Way, which is usually their way of ending the night with a bang. |

I have zero range, so I like Patrick Swayze's "She's Like the Wind".
There's hardly any rap, but I did find "Informer" at a Noraebang! Big bonus points for me for knowing the words |

Dunno, but I wish people would stop singing the Muse and Radiohead songs. Talk about party killer. |

Bohemian Rhapsody, of course......sorts the men out from the boys.
If Koreans are there I'll sing anything to undermine their very serious attitude to karaoke....... |
