| I'm hoping to make good use of my time over here and take some online courses to get my degree in education. I want to got into teaching when I get back in the states but having a BA in business really limits this. I know there are many online programs where one can obtain an education degree. Does anyone have opinions or experience on which schools and programs are better than others? I hope to be a high school english teacher so some sort of secondary education degree is what I'm looking to obtain. |

| I don't know if online is the way to go if you want to be a teacher. Most programs require actual classroom instruction. But I suppose if you want a major, and then apply to a university and do the one-year teacher training (in person) I suppose it's a good start. If you already have a teachable major, then I don't see any point in getting an online education degree. |
