I am wondering if anyone would use THIS?
It is a very simple way to record up to 10min. of video and then send by email. You control it always, can delete at will. Totally private.
Originally, I've been looking into this type of thing for jobs and better connecting teachers- employers but I think it might be good for teaching, sending a greeting home etc...
What do you think of it? Would you use it?

Yes, kind of like eyejot. I had big hopes for them but their quality now sucks and for me that is most important. Same with youtube - it sucks for quality and I really try not to use it for personal stuff.
I really like the simplicity and it can be used for more than just job video introductions. You could get your students to record introductions and post on your wiki. Perfect way to do a needs analysis and get an idea of their level. Though I think voicethread is the best for this.
But even just sending a video home to the family makes this a great tool. Me thinks.
