so is anyone else getting the
problem loading page
The server at *******.com is taking too long to respond.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
like what is up with this?!?!?! originally, i thought it was just a temporary problem. the forums at sherdog.net wasn't working... i was at piratebay on saturday afternoon and it was fine but late night sunday morning, it showed this msg
do i need to call my internet company? it's not working at school too. just the website. i don't use torrents at work but the website just isn't working. but sherdog.net is working now
oh, edit: i was also msning a friend of mine from back home and he went to 2 different sites that i couldn't access just fine. so it's not a problem with the website itself... i'm just wondering if other people have noticed it too so maybe it's a south korean thing. but usually, they show that police sign saying that access is forbidden. but there's nothing illegal about the websites i'm trying to load. haha even piratebay!

This happens when I'm browsing at my school. There are several non-controvercial or work-related websites that will only open in a proxy.
Guardian newspaper and mesenglish are two. |

that's weird that it's happening at your home. it does that at my school. this site is blocked at my school for some stupid reason and it wasn't before.
anyway, try using a proxy site like hidemyass.com |

I get that sometimes, but have learned that if I just wait some and refresh, it slowly loads. It may just be a possibility that we connect somewhat slowly to their servers to the point where the connection may time out. I've also noticed that despite how fast my internet is, YouTube still loads painfully slow for me. |

You only need http://btjunkie.org/ anyway.
Just check the user comments before you download (to avoid fakes). |

Stealing is wrong. Complaining about not being able to steal is worse. |

lol what the... people use bitorrents not just for stealing but for other stuff
anyway i disagree. while i think stealing is wrong, i don't think complaining about being able to steal is more wrong. the stealing is what makes it wrong the first place. a non working website sucks big time |

It happens to me occasionally. I just assume it's problems on their end, and come back later.
Have you noticed lately on TPB that the recent torrents do not display the number of seeders and peers - always on 0/0. They download ok, but it's very inconvenient not to be able to see the numbers.
I'll check out btjunkie. |

These sites go down sometimes. And then they come back. Consider it a healthy reminder how spoiled we've all become. |
