I remember hearing that there's an area at Dongdaemun where there are several martial arts supply stores. I don't live in Seoul so I don't know the area at all, but I'd like to pop in the next time I'm in the city.
Do any of you know where these stores are, and if so, could you give me directions from the subway?

I remember seeing a multi-story martial arts store in the main area/strip near Doota/Migliore long ago but on my way home the other day I couldn't seem to spot it. Maybe it got wiped out with all the construction?

Using the search function I found a bunch of threads on a place called "Moosoolsa"...I think that's the one I was talking about. I found their website through Google...

By subway in Korea,
1. Take line 5 to Dongdaemun Stadium stop. Exit from the exit #7. You will see our company building on your right side.

2. Take line 2 or 4 to Dongdaemun Statdium stop. Exit from the exit #5. The company building is on your right about 100m away straight from the exit.

Stopped by there today after work and it looked more like a fabric shop than a martial arts store. Just a bunch of guys sitting around doing embroidery on uniforms...I don't think they're used to getting retail customers because they sort of freaked out when I walked in. Anyway, most of the stuff they have on the internet needs to be ordered...didn't look like there was a lot on sale at the actual site itself.

That's unfortunate, but I thought I'd heard there was actually an area with several small stalls selling stuff but I guess next time I'm in Seoul I'll just wander around and see if I find anything.
