I have been working in Korea for 4 years now and have been teaching elementary level children for all of that time. I am currently studying for my online masters in TESOL and would like to work at a university. I realize how difficult it is to find a job at a Seoul university without a masters or uni experience. That got me thinking that maybe applying to work at a high school with SMOE might be a step in the right direction. I will also apply for unis that are near Seoul.
My questions are:
does this plan have any merit?
what is it like working in an SMOE high school?
