Not legally, and Immigration is in the middle of a crackdown period where they are generally visiting every school. They swung through my neighborhood in January and wanted to see everyone's paperwork that was working at all the schools in the area.

Personally if you are going to do the illegal thing make it worth while. I did it for two years and made up to 5 million a month but after the crackdown I decided to be legal. The biggest problem with being illegal here is that some bosses will screw you. I have heard that you can buy degrees on-line. A friend did it recently and it all passed with no worries at all. I think you are looking at about $110 for a REAL degree. After that you cannot be screwed and don't have to be on the lookout for immigration.

Nope. A guy at our school submitted a fake university diploma to our boss, who passed it on to Immigration. Immigration did find out it was forged, busted the guy and deported him. Not before he spent a week in jail.

After that I changed my views. Going illegal is just plain stupid, IMHO. You just have no protection against getting screwed, either by your boss or by other people. People who do work legitimately should make it a personal habit to turn in illegals. It's only fair for the rest of us who did go through the hoops legitimately and got a degree and a visa.
