I didn't rhyme any of them save for marry, merry, etc. and my English is North American, so I don't quite get your point.
I do rhyme ON with JOHN though, either with the American or Brit pronounciation.. don't you? |
ON and JOHN? Yes, of course. I must have missed that one.
The point is it seems odd that anyone would pronounce COT and CAUGHT the same or MARRY and MERRY. Your accent is obviously only slightly strange from my point of view, but the presence of these questions on the quiz suggests that there are a lot of strange accents in North America. |
