Is it possible?
Basically, my first contract in Korea ended in 2007. I had worked at a large franchise, and was entitled to pension. However, my employer did not take out the payments from my monthly pay, or contribute themselves.... so is it possible for them (and myself), to make a lump payment now, 3 years later, so that I could receive my year's worth of pension from that date? (I am an American, who was registered with the Education office etc., still have the old paper contract/pay stubs/etc., and the school is still in business.)
Sadly, I made the stupid mistake of being a bit preoccupied I suppose, with the end of my contract as I was going on a 2-month long backpacking trek through Europe immediately after my contract ended.
Anyhow, would appreciate your replies on the matter, I'll be checking back to hopefully find some helpful info! Regards. |
