The guy strikes me as a typical pretentious Canadian highschool kid who has taken a few to political science courses. Now he is out of Canada and wallowing in all he thinks is great about being a canadian overseas. I don't know whether to pity him or despise him. As a Canadian though, I would he the first to tell him what a real embarrasment he is to our country. Utterly pathetic. One day he himself will realise it, once his balls drop that is.

Are you for real dude? The only reason that you got a job(because you wouldn't be able to get one in Canadia) is because the US military is protecting your butt from the Norks and Chinese. Otherwise, if all hell broke loose, your butt would be right there waiting for the US military to airlift you out of the country Laughing . Canadians seem to be like Koreans: massive inferiority complex and weak. Weak people, which is why you guys are at the bottom of the totem pole(ahem).

"Cana-dians" are not exactly on top around here either. Many Koreans think that you guys are drug addicts. They've told me. As for something like the SOFA...duh...of course the US needs it...have you not seen how much hatred the Koreans(no doubt spurred on by the media) have for the US military presence. Of course, those guys need protections from some cocky, Korean police officer(and I use the term loosely) who will always, always take the side of the Korean over the foreigner. No shit, sherlock. Yeah protections are needed against this sort of behavior. If there were none, you can bet the Korean police would use Gestapo style tactics agains them. As a foreigner in Korea(if you are), you should know this. Without the SOFA, the Koreans would be doing all kinds of crap to the military and the US would not stay under those terms. Hell, I say let them defend their own damn selves against the Norks and Chinese. I am all for getting the US off this ungrateful peninsula.

You are probably one of these guys that is jumping with joy at the thought of China being top dog...man, are you in for a shock if it ever happens. If you think the US is bad, China will be your worst nightmare come true. They don't want to defend Korea, they want to take it over and they'll probably one day take over your lovely Canadia as well. I mean, look at how they are trying to claim territory in the South China Sea. And they will take it and offer no compromises. One day, you'll be thinking back to the glory days of the US. China could easily take Canadia over militarily because Cana-dians are weak.

I do wish you would actually express your feelings to a group of soldiers here. But then again, you don't got the stones.

Wishmaster, first off, your post about China is alright and a fair point.

But for someone who claims to be all against prejudice and what not, you sure write some bigoted garbage.

Johum is writing tripe. And so are you.

Do you really think posts like yours accomplish anything? Do you really think they make the world a better place?

Wishmaster may I say that you seem to have the attitude of those ajosshis you so despise.

You are so Korean.

Johum, guess what dude- Canada is no better than the US. The Western nations have all been infected by the same viruses and we're all just empty shells by this point. The things that made our societies great are gone now and we've forgotten how to get them back if we even wanted to. We're cricling the drain- US, Canada, all of us.

Some of the things which made us great are still exemplified in the military, even though the people who control the military are the same ones who've caused our decay.

The things you say about soldiers are just stupid. You're another punk with a high-average IQ who thinks he's the next Noam Chomsky because you parroted what your commie professor said in your papers and assignments and got a good mark for being a useful idiot, as Lenin would say. The same elites who cause the things that you hate are behind the left-wing extremism in universities that you love. They're weakening you, turning your focus away from them and training you to serve their ends all in one fell swoop.

You guys are all funny.

Ugly Canadian?
HA! Hilarious!
At least when I tell people where I'm from, they don't wince as if they ate a lemon.
I am happy not to be an "ugly Amer-Rican" that's for sure.

Wow! another hilarious comment! lol!!!
I am wondering why all you jokers out there are wasting your time teaching English when you could be making more money doing improv...

At least I have the BALLS to tell it like it is and I find it sad and a little pathetic that those Canadians who take the anti-American side of one debate and then run to their rescue in another- I find it a tad bit hypocritical.

Never gone to the US?
Are YOU for real?
How can a Canadian NOT go to 'their poor neighbor to the south'. Me and my friends went down to Mexico...uhm...I mean, the US every weekend for drinks when I was doing both my undergrad and graduate work. I do have to admit that shopping in the US a little cheaper than up where I'm from.
But what else do they have?

As for those doped up alcoholics that the Amer-Rican pass off as soldiers, the only reason many of them come here now is to get away from going to either Iraq or Afghanistan.
I mean, how many armed forces require their soldiers to do a piss test every 3 months or have in-unit AD counselors?

As for the soldiers in Afghanistan, about a tenth of them are all high on opium and heroine anyway and going around, shooting up innocent people for sport and keeping their limbs and bones as trophies- that is some very disturbed stuff?

I also recall an incident during the Korean War where about 500 Korean civilians were gunned down by Amer-Rican soldiers with the full knowledge of their government.

Yeah, I'm thankful alright- sure...

Good troll!

Easy boy! Good to get another Canadian hiding behind their keyboard talking trash. Most Canadians in Korea would be embarassed by you. They are quite happy being Canadian and have nothing against the U.S. They dont have an inferiority complex. Again you need to talk to the soldiers. They will straighten you out. But I dont expect that that will happen. I bet you become all smiles around them. Seen it so many times, big mouth '/;candyass. I like that there is a prestige to being an American in Asia. Canada , most people dont know much about it. But people watch American movies, read American books, drive American cars all over the world. I was in the back country of Brazil, way up the Amazon and in a small town there were American flags. Sorry , thats the way it is. Oh Tim Hortons owned by an American company. SAd that hate is taught in Candian schools. Well you always have hockey. Oops most teams are in the U.S. Canada cant financially support the teams. Well you have curling and snow and poutine. I love that stuff.
