Yes, I've read other topics and have even checked out one store in Seoul (they didn't have any priced for my small budget) but I'm really only looking to spend around 50,000 or less as I just want something to play with for the year and probably won't bring it back to Canada with me. Does anyone know where I could find an ukulele for around this much?

I bought an ukulele from Nagwon for 50,000. It's not great but it's ok for throwing around. I ended up buying a much better one about 3 weeks later though.... You get what you pay for.

I can't PM a reply so....
Nakwon is in Seoul. It's at Jongno 3-Ga station. If you come out of exit #5, you'll see an ugly looking building that says 낙원상가 on the outside of it.
It bascially has all the musical instruments in Seoul Smile
Some places speak English to varying degrees. Around that building is also a fair few shops that I've seen ukuleles in...
Hope that helps!
Oh, I don't have my old uke anymore... otherwise I'd happily pass it your way.

Thanks
