I think most people have had almost simliar things happen to them (not being informed until the last min, etc.). But I think this one might be unique.
Maybe this is a bit off topic but they happened at school....
I was looking to buy my first vehicle in Korea a couple of years ago. I asked my co-teacher for help to get my DL. She said oh why do you want to drive in Korea. It is dangerous the roads are smaller than in America. I asked how so. She then told me that the lanes are smaller because they have smaller cars in korea. I almost fainted....
This one makes me say WHAT!!!
Maybe this is true maybe it is not. But some of the other NET's in the area get rides to school with their korean co-workers. One teacher called and asked me this question not to long ago. He said that his co-teacher stated she could no longer give him a ride to school anymore. I ask why, he stated that the co-teacher said that her car insurance company said that she could not give him a ride because if she had an accident they would not cover him because he is a foreigner. |
