Yes, because life is about work. Unless you're incredibly wealthy, in which case life is about tricking less well-off people into opposing their own interests by thinking this way so you can continue to enjoy the benefits of others' labor. Maybe hallazgo is being sarcastic (I hope so), but there are lots of people who unfortunately really have such thoughts, and they serve as a very real impediment to improving society.

Asking lower and middle class French to work until age 62 is a reasonable request.

The fact that increasing the retirement age is so vigorously opposed by the French left demonstrates that it's not only a defensible policy but an essential one.
