Today I saw an advertisement for a weight loss treatment that could help you lose 8 Kilograms in a month or two. Has anyone seen this? What do they do to you? It seems too good to be true...unless it's speed or somesuch! |

Are you college educated?
What do you think?
If there was a safe and easy way to lose 8kg's in a month or two.......wouldn't all the fatties be doing it? |

No, because most of the fatties would think it's too good to be true.
Most miraculous weight loss programs make exaggerated promises.
But that doesn't mean all of them do.
All we have to go on is inductive reasoning, and you can't get conclusive evidence from inductive reasoning.
So we can't be absolutely sure that this promise is exaggerated also.
(All I know is that I tried the Atkins diet and it didn't go a thing for me.) |

I walked across Korea this summer. I lost eight kilograms in three weeks.
It was safe but it wasnt easy, nor was I a fatty. I recommend walking across a small country to lose those last few pounds. |

I keep my weight loss simple.
Intermittent 24 fasting 1-2 times a week, plus resistance training.
On the days I'm not eating, I drink a vegetable supplement, eat lots of tomatoes, bananas and small portions of rice when eating Korean food.
I do like a few beers, and let's face it, calorie wise 3 beers is a big mac meal.
I've lost 3 kgs in the past month, it would have been more if I drank nothing but water, orange juice and the vegetable supplement-it actually tastes good, but it's expensive. |

Quack Addict: I sure did. With two hundred young Korean folks. You might have seen us walking through your town complete with flag bearers, vans and cute matching ensembles. |

Usually they are a combination of speed (or some sort of legal herbal stimulant) and diuretics to increase your metabolism and dehydrate you. The weight loss is short-term and the weight comes back as soon as you stop taking it. There are also a lot of side effects. |

Those kinds of supplements often work on water weight. You get dehydrated and, therefore, lighter.
Fat loss is another matter. This is the only fat loss program that works:
1lb of body fat represents approx 3500 calories
create a deficit of 3500 calories in your caloric intake and you will lose approx 1lb of body fat.
this can be achieved through diet and/or exercise
monitor how many calories you eat, how many you expend in exercise, and how many you need just to survive. calculate your deficit and track weight loss. it's actually fun after a while![/b] |

I lost 14 pounds since last Thursday. I don't think you want to lose weight this way though. Got sick, vomited for 5 days before I got my hands on ZOFRAN and then my stomach really hurt for another three days, and I ate something yesterday and today. It's been hell. I'm a 31 inch waist though.

Urgh, reminds me of my sick days here.
Anyway, I gained at least 8 KG in about 2 weeks. was easy, I just stuffed my face before coming to Korea. Is that equally impressive as losing it? |

Also, where can I get one of those step-counting devices you put on your body and is not cumbersome? I swear I've done about 900,000 steps in the last couple of weeks. I actually can't stand up currently, because my muscles are destroyed.
Hence why I'm posting everywhere. |

So, on the days you're not eating, you're eating. I'm not sure I can get my head around that... |

wth, losing 8kg in two months is not some sort of super extreme diet. That's less than 1kg/week, which is the recommended rate of weight loss when you're on a diet.
OP, have you tried just eating less food? |
