Anyone ever heard of or worked for Langcon in Eun Pyeong?

Anyone ever worked in any of the Langcons.

I heard it's part of Avalon.

It's a separate entity from Avalon under it's own rules and expectations but under the same cooperate umbrella. Langcon schools are pretty tightly controlled content wise; it caters to the younger set starting with kindy and up. They try to promote English only classrooms; this includes both the Native and Korean teachers. It can be a demanding gig if you're just stepping into the field but someone with a year or two experience should be fine.

Hi there,
I currently work for an Avalon school in Seoul. I wasn't aware that Langcon operated separately from Avalon as I teach both at my school. The Langcon students are younger and the CHAMP students are the "Avalon" students but at our branch it all falls under the Avalon umbrella.
As far as experience goes, I was the only foreign teacher with teaching experience (just a few months) and everyone did just fine. The syllabus is set in stone but you can add activities or tailor the homework exercises. From my understanding the different branches can vary quite a bit, so I am not sure how the Eun Pyeong branch operates.
I've been working at Avalon for just a month and everything is going well. There are good days and bad days (and kids with behavior problems) but overall my experience has been positive. Good luck!
