I've done the Uni route already, just curious about Hagwons.

thanks |

I did, but the threads are 2years old, so I figured some people might be going to a new hagwon.

Anywhere in Seoul is fine, close to Hongdae would be nice, but I dont mind going as far as Kangnam |

in hongdae there is ganada (i think about 180,000 a month) and yeonnam global center (free).

ganada has sign ups every month, the next semester at yeonnam starts in january.

yeonnam is targeted towards chinese immigrants though so the english support is weak. this is great if your korean is half-decent. not so good if you're just starting out. |

				| My neighbor last year went to a place at Jongak, I want to say it was Pagoda? IDR the name, but it was one of the big language chains. |

I used to attend YBM at Jongno. I highly recommend it for the price: about 110,000 a month (20 hours a month). They also have more intensive daytime hours for a similarly good price.

I'm sure the university programs are better, but they are usually at least 3x more expensive than YBM. |

				| Metro Korean Academy, MKA is pretty close to Hongdae. It's at City Hall. I will start my 4th month there this weekend. They offer a few options. I take Saturday classes because I can't make the M-F times. My classes are very small, around 5 students. |
