| I was at Costco today and, evidently, there are no more macadamia nut cookies in the bakery section! They have chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin, but the macadamia nut cookies have been replaced with double chocolate cookies with large chocolate chips. There appears to be no need to panic, yet, but hopefully the macadamia nut cookies can make a comeback, soon. |

That's the truth, especially the bakery section. Today I saw: cheesecake, pumpkin pie, Boston Cream pie, the muffins, the cookies, bagels, and some other cakes. It's a touch of heaven. |

| It doesn't look good. The healthy choice canned soup disappeared a couple of years ago from Costco never to return. |

| There are some good coupons this week at Costco. 7,500 off Tide powder with bleach, 5,000 off Aveeno lotion, 2,000 off those large plastic containers of Mentos (they cost 9,900 regularly), and 2,800 off Febreze spray, just to name a few. |

| This is a heads up for teachers. One of the coupons in the green booklet, Costco mails out from time-to-time, is for 2,500 won off bags of Dum Dum lollipops. It's good during the week of December 6-12 but you don't need to have the coupon. They will scan it for you. |

| They've swapped out the cinnamon raisin bagels for gingerbread bagels. I don't mind though, I like both kinds. It's probably a seasonal thing, and since Korean SBUX doesn't carry gingerbread loaf, it almost makes up for that. |

Ever been to Costco in Korea? Talk about crowds! The only problem Costco has in Korea is where to build the next one, if you call that a problem. |

If you go on Sunday morning they'll have donuts and coffee when they open (the one in Ilsan does).
When I worked a PS job, I would hop the bus to Ilsan straight from school and get there about 5:30 and there would be hardly anyone there. Around 6 or so when I would be checking out, people started pouring in. Early weekends, like right they open are prime. Unfortunately at that time, the samples (aka ajumma buffet) aren't out yet. |
