I have been trying to contact several schools regarding employment, but my emails are all getting sent back.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Especially jobs listed on Pusanweb.

What's the deal?
Cheers

If the jobs listed use a hanmail e-mail address and you try to send e-mail from hotmail it usually gets sent back as spam. If this is the case try setting up a yahoo account and send it. Hanmail usually accepts yahoo mailings. Without more facts I can't help you as I never have applied for a job using Pusanweb. I have, however, experienced problems trying to send e-mail to a hanmail address.

Very accurate. Hanmail seems to have a vendetta against hotmail. It seems to happen more than just due to the occassional major Spam attacks. Sometimes I wonder if the Korean e-mail and chat clients (buddy buddy), and e-mail providers are fighting for their collective Korean lives against MSN and Microsoft. I'm sure they collaborate in any way they can to keep control of Korea.

I can't email a hanmail account from Yahoo, either. I have used a "canada.com" email address to mail hanmail, though.

If it's not the hanmail problem, it's possible that their mailboxes are full, if they're using web based email. All those scanned photos, etc, fill them up pretty quickly.

The funny thing is that most of the addresses are hotmail accounts. Shocked Some are from different providers, but still ALL of them bounce back??????????????????????????????????????????

WTF is going on???????????????

I'm sending them from my hotmail account in a pc room.

Different computers, different pc rooms - same thing.

I'll try sending some on yahoo, see what happens.

Thanks for your help.

Hanmail is crap. When will they stop using HTML based msgs?

How big are any attachments that yo are trying to send? Hotmail will allow a few Mb before they start bouncing. If the other persons account is almost full and you are trying to send a 900Kb file then it will bounce.

OMG - "What are you people, on dope?" Wink

Sorry, I just had to post that. I was laughing all the way here on the subway thinking about that site- a year in hell. Laughing Laughing Laughing
