So I've been here for about six months teaching at a hagwon, after having never taught before. And for a guy without experience, I feel like I've done ok--but not great. So how does one improve their teaching skills. Does it just take trial and error? Are there some free (or paid) online resources that one can access? Are there ways to help improve classroom management? What have you, fellow educators, used that's helped you the most? Thanks for whatever advice you can offer.

Here are notes from my classroom experiences, http://englishlessons.wikispaces.com

As for classroom management, I take a few students who are able to use the material I am teaching and then work down.

Anyone who is not addressed at the end of the class is in the "lower group". The school can either divide the class up at that point or I will teach the better half and the lower half will have to speak to me as a group. I treat them like an individual student.

Some teachers pair up good with bad, but this doesn't make the better student improve.
