I heard there was a novel too. Of course, what good will a novel written in Japanese do for me when all I can do is make a polite greeting to someone in Japanese?
I hear the ending gets a bit ridiculous, but yeah...I'll still see it. |

I got my copy of BATTLE ROYALE (the first one) via eBay. That's worth a look. I'm suspect it might be pirated but it plays fine and that's good enough. BR2? Haven't started looking for it yet but it's available on DVD now.
I'd never seen anything like the first movie, and was pretty devastated (in a good way) afterward. The second? I enjoyed it, thought it was a very good idea, but nothing could hope to match the impact of the original. |
