I have a set of gold rings (3 rings with diamonds on them), which are to be worn in a set. My friend gave them to me after a terrible marriage break up, they are too small for me and I also don't like them, so I want to get some money back from them.
I know Jongno is a big jewelry area - but are any of the stores pawnbrokers? How can I tell which store is a pawnbroker? Any recommendations for stores?

전당포 is the Korean for pawnbroker. I don't know about Jongno, but I've seen pawnshops around. You'd probably be able to sell/trade/whatever with someone at the stores in Jongno, regardless of if they are a pawnshop or not.
