That time of year again for travelling wondering where is best to pick up a big backpacking style backpack for travelling. I heard namdaemun market is good. Anyone have any other suggestions? How much to these backpacks cost generally?

Thanks.

I'm also looking for some walking around trousers and foot moving shoes if anyone knows of some good ones.

Can you really not see that he/she is making a distinction between a backpack for carrying a pair of shoes to the gym and one that you would use to travel around Asia for 6 months? You must be a lot of fun at parties.

There were several places in Namdaemun last time I was there with a pretty good selection. I didn't look to closely, though. They may be ripoffs. Probably cheap!

I saw that link to G market for the Osprey bags.

I am sorry. But that bag is on sale at REI for like 150 bucks.
Do what the other self respecting gear heads do here. Go to the
store- try on the gear- then order it to your folks house and have then
send it over. Save yourself....i dunno 250 bucks.

It was an attempt at humour. You read it in a snarky tone that wasn't intended.
