many cancellations/delayed flights....not looking good for those that are trying to get home for Christmas  |

| I'm going the other way - London to Seoul via Helsinki. Due to fly on Wednesday but it's not looking good at the moment. Heathrow is in absolute chaos! They locked down terminals 1 and 3 this (Monday) afternoon - not allowing any new passengers in. There are literally thousands of people spending their second and third nights on the terminal floors. Only one runway is open and there are still many planes 'stuck' in their docking spots, frozen and still in snow, even though it hasn't snowed there now since Saturday! Problems also at Paris and Frankfurt. If you're flying via Heathrow anytime soon I recommend you contacting your airline to confirm your flight(s) and checking Heathrows Twitter page - http://twitter.com/heathrowairport - as it seems better than Heathrows own site - http://www.heathrowairport.com |
