Just got notice that I will be heading over to Daegu for EPIK.
My 3rd choice. Busan was my first. I am kinda sad, I won't be able to do water sports, hang by the beach.
What is good outdoor sports in Daegu?

You are only an hour by train from Busan which is nice.
In Daegu, there are softball leagues, baseball leagues, some sort of hockey league (not ice but like street hockey type thing I think), and there is probably more. There are a lot of parks where you can find things like tennis, badminton, and more. Check out Facebook. There are a lot of groups on there for different activities. I lived there for a year and I am most likely going back in a month. |

why sad? daegus a great city, alot of good restaruants and clubs and cool people, that said, dont try to live to far off from the city center. alot of places for sports, just not the beach but you can take a train to Haeundae from dongdaegu station. takes 1:30 or so (slow train)... |
