I have my 2000 Matiz for sale for anyone interested. Baby is getting bigger, and no longer fits in the matiz, otherwise, I would definitely keep it, as I love the car. Never had a single problem. Nothing ever broke down.

There are only 71,000 kilometers on the clock. It is a manual, and if you can't drive a stick, I am happy to teach you. Driving a stick saves you an extra 3-4 kilometers per liter of gas, which gets quite substantial over time. Also, with the matiz, you get half-price tolls and half-price on all public parking.

In regards to the condition, the engine is in fine condition. I know my way pretty well around cars, and everything is in good working condition. Oil was just changed this last month, and the tires are brand new (front 2 months old, back 2 days old). However, I won't say that the body is drop dead gorgeous. The body of the car has some dents and scratches, but they in no way effect the performance. The owner before me was a 35 year old adjumma who just got her license, and it was the first car she ever had.

I live in the Itaewon Area, and can show it to people most anytime. Selling for below the market value at 1,600,000 won. Call me at: 010-9806-8655, or PM me.

Car: Matiz
Color: Blue
Transmission: Manual
Tires: New
Oil: Just changed
Engine: Just serviced, in great condition
Price: 1,600,000 won

Out of curiosity, what's insurance on one of these things?

If this were the end of March, I'd be interested, but right now, no can do... Sad

just curious, what the average parking costs are.. if you live in an officetel - how much would you have to pay a month to park?

OP, seems like a decent deal.. good luck.

depends on where you live. I have parking at my place, so it is free. The matiz is small, so when I lived at a place prior to my current place, we just parked on the street fine (with a small car, finding a spot was never an issue).

My wife and I had a 2003 Matiz but had to sell it when we had a baby. We put it up for sale on some of the Korean sites like SK and Passo, and we got lots of calls from dealers and other people interested in it.

For reference, our car was the same color as your car, it had 45,000 KM, an automatic transmission, and tires with about 10,000 KM on them. Like your car, we too had many scratches on the outside, but the interior was clean. We got a lot of calls from dealers offering between 2.5 million and 3.0 million, but ended up selling it to a guy (non-dealer) for 3.3 million.

Koreans seem to be willing to pay more for these cars than foreigners are. You might go that route as it might mean an easier/quicker sale and more money in your pocket.

I would imagine that you could get at least 2.0 million if you sell it on a Korean car site.

How does registration work when you buy cars without using a dealer?

I'm looking for a car although this price is a tad beyond what I'm looking for. Looks nice though!

registration is simple. Purchase your insurance, and then go to the local district office and register.

Still available. Smile

I think both buyer and seller have to be present to do the transfer, right?
