Does anyone know a good place to watch local sports at a bar?
How about foreign sports (American)?
I live in GwangJin-Gu Guui-Dong.
Anywhere near Konkuk University, Jamsil, or Samseong will do.
Some friends and are looking for a sports bar type of experience to watch the Asia cup.
Korea Republic vs. Australia on Friday night!! |

you can watch local stuff in any pub. Just look for the big TVs, a lot of them have it.
foreign stuff is much more difficult. With the time difference you're not going to see them live unless you want to show up there at 7 or 8 am.
There is a foreign bar or two that sometimes shows stuff, but it's either delayed or at a weird hour for that kind of thing. |

A lot of Western style bars in Itaewon will put on a a game if you request it.
The Itaewon bars would also have your usual sports bar foods. Burgers, wings, nachos, etc...
Or you could go to Hooters. |
