You sound like a *beep* but you don't hear me complaining.

But to fill in the gaps. Yes I know I'm being used more than the other teachers, and yes I do not care to recognize it. The work is stress free, it's within the contract, I'm good enough that I am finding the time here easier than those who actually have it easier.

I don't need an ego boost, especially from a blimp headed buffoon like you (haha, gotta use that again), who originally seemed helpful and nice. Who am I kidding, dave's, right?

You can worry about my teaching all you want, but I'm the only one with no complaints. Hence why I don't need an ego boost. I am simply answering your questions frankly and openly. You don't like it, stop asking k?

If you re-read the thread, you literally set this entire thing up for a flame or two. For no reason. Although I do like the occasional trolling here and there.

Oh I never said 67 was a lot, I said it was more than the others. It wasn't a brag. Don't assume personalities, It's bad for your liver.

The phone teaching is not overtime, because overtime would be teaching hours. Phone teaching isn't teaching, it's just calling for a while to make the parents happy. A useless thing but hey.

Now for an actual brag, since you want it... hmm...

I'm a better musician than you, or anyone on here will ever be.

I can play "Jesus Christ Superstar" on the piano (but only with my right hand). BOOM!

On average, how many classes do you teach per day?

I've also been asked to re-sign, but the location is a deal-breaker for me (coincidentally, I also work in Anyang). The apartment is good and I teach 5-6 classes a day... plus no teaching over the phone. Still, I feel like I'd rather forgo the raise in favor of living in Seoul. To each his own, though.

It takes two to tango, have fun with another partner. I just wanted to see how exaggerated your story could get. It wasn't meant to flame.

Chances are, if you posted a contract as requested, you would have had a different response. I would have seen all the details and been able to actually make constructive conversation with you. Oh well, better luck next time.

Nothing is exaggerated. Telling it how it is.
I don't have a contract at hand, since I haven't accepted, they just gave me a printed sheet with the conditions followed by 'please consider this positively' at the end.

It does take two to tango, but a dance requires an invitation more often than a mutual well timed decision. I can't say no to such offers.

But you're right, this is luck based and we're all out of it.

----

Guy from Anyang, The schedules have recently changed and after my new breaks are filled up with more students I'll be teaching 8 classes a day. If they completely fill up my breaks which is likely, it'll be 6 45 minute and 2 40 minute classes a day with about 3 minutes in between to take the kids downstairs and maybe rush to the bathroom if you're daring.

This is what has made me almost decide on the NO. The poll helps since nobody has chosen simply 'yes' for 2.3 mil. I think I was the one that voted yes before, just so I had voted. I don't feel that way at all...

I could say the same for most British voters.

Yeah I'd hold out for 200K extra, Thats what I asked for and got when I was at a Hagwon.

Especially seen you will now be doing 8 classes a day with only 3 minutes break between classes Surprised . If you want to, mention the fact that the labour laws actually say that with your number of hours you should have a meal break at some stage (I've read that somewhere here on Daves)

I was doing the same amount of classes as you will be doing but I had a huge 5 minute break between them Very Happy and no meal break most days.

Your extra holidays though is a good deal.
