I am looking for a fuzzy ball that will stick to a large velcro sheet with tiny hooks. I want to set up a hockey or soccer type game where a student tries to get the fuzzy ball past a goalie. The students earns a goal if the fuzzy ball goes past the goalie and sticks to the velcro sheet.

Anyone seen anything like this in a toy store or market in Seoul?

I'm only guessing but...

What if you bought yarn and made the ball yourself, wouldn't it work?

I looked around Gmarket in vain and may make a trip to a Toys R Us this weekend so thanks for the website.

Nice idea! I wish I could find a bolt of velcro fabric with the hooks then I could put it up on the blackboard.

Just draw a target on the whiteboard and have them throw a ball (of rolled up paper) at the target. Why are you spending money when you don't need to?

It's a hockey lesson for winter camp (not my idea). Just wanted to make it a bit more fun and hockey-like with a minimum of cash. I can probably reuse the setup for future games.

Where do you live?

I bought some myself in a big stationery store. Unless you live in a tiny village, you should be able to find that in any stationery store bigger than a convenience store. Also, you could simply ask your coteacher. Just show him/her what you want. If you don't have any velcro around, then Google for some pictures, and pictures would make it easier for you to find some if you just showed them to the people at the stationery store.

Good luck!

Wouldn't a couple sheets of felt board work for this? You can get it at most stationary shops for 5,000w-ish....

I browsed thru the ToysRUs in Guil but didn't find what I wanted. Anyways I have an improvised solution in mind.

Hockey stick: make one out of rolled-up newspapers.

Puck: buy a plastic baseball and Velcro stickers from Daiso. Put the Velcro stickers with the rough hooks on the baseball.

Net: make one by stacking student desks and using mosquito net.

Go to your local Home Plus (not Home Plus Express) and find the childrens' toys/childrens' sports section. Every one I've been to has a velcro target/fuzzy ball set.
