I measured it with friends yesterday. So far I've gone from 1 bottle of soju to 2 bottles plus 3,000 cc of beer ALONE and in one sitting (approx. 3 hours; 168 pounds/ 5'8"; 1 hour after eating samgyupsal; 3 restroom breaks--normal wizzes; going out for maybe 2 years). After that much I felt mildly drunk and decided to stop. EmbarassedI'm so ashamed! Though I never drink alone. It's also kinda crappy since it means I've gotta dish out so much money just to get a buzz. (Considering switching to coffee) Haha, I just realized the irony that I may still be drunk posting on Dave's. But just feel a little lightheaded and sorta curious (not too curious)

How about you peeps? What's your limit?

My tolerance for booze has been the same for the last ten years or so.

It's my tolerance for dealing with the next day which has changed, and not for the better.

It depends on many factors, if I drink daily I can drink all night, but, like last week, I didn't drink at all, then had some beers last night and got hit hard.

It's sad really, this whole weekend I was so bored and lonely, that eventually by 4pm I decided to drink (getting up at 7:30 am for some reason, today and yesterday).

And I mean I did it all; watched movies, read good sci-fi, took a walk, cleaned up the place, made good food - man, Korea is a hard and lonely place, no matter what. And I LIKE being alone, gets too much here, looking forward to going to work on Monday while it is still Saturday, the hell?

Exactly. The hangover that used to last an hour or two now lasts a day or two. I think this makes me a bit more impatient and intolerable the next day.

College hangovers were a breeze, now they suck major monkey balls.

That alone is reason enough not to binge. Then again life does sometimes prod me into excessive consumption. A couple days later and I'm feeling right as rain, even more so than before. But that pathetic, miserable interim? That I could do without.

Drinking has been known to reduce one's inhibitions. So maybe you're simply doing what comes natural for you. Wink

No difference here. I drink occasionally. Need to piss every 17 seconds after about one beer. Same old.

i drink more and i drink slower here. probably because the bars are open all night. there's no rush to get drunk before last call at 1:40.

still, a few beers feel like nothing. a six pack used to be enough for an evening after school or work. no longer.

i've noticed my stomach has gotten more sensitive over the years. not that i vomit more, i just feel more nauseous while and after drinking.
