Just curious to see if anyone here does any form of drawing whilst they're in the land of K?
I'd like to get back in the habit when I return...

This is a bump for the non-drunk-philistines. |

I'm actually in the same boat. Use to draw all the time back home but haven't done anything in the last 9 years I've been in Korea.
Mum actually wanted me to become a cartoonist but it's always just been a hobby to me.
I want to start drawing again but it's not easy finding good drawing supplies down South where I live. In spring I want to get up into the moutains and do some landscapes, and maybe some caricatures of the locals. |

Just had a look at the photos on that page. Where's the flesh?! Don't they know it's all about the nudies...someone must've pulled the "fine art" wool over their eyes.
oh wait, the nudes are on the 2nd page. yippee! |

I actually got my degree in Media Arts and Animation. My drawing frequency has declined steeply in the past few years, but I've been having little fits and bursts of creativity since I got here and now have a pile of sketches... but no scanner to put them up online.
I thought about doing a little mini-comic about my adventures in Korea to put on my blog. Gotta start writing down ideas. |

Yeh I have my totally relevant degree in Illustration but have barely done anything since I finished, saying that, I barely did anything before I finished either...
One thing I'm now curious about is to how available life drawing classes (etc.) are outside of Seoul, I was in Daegu last time and didn't find anything... |

I drew a lot when I was studying abroad there a couple of years ago, and hope that when I return next month I will pick up the habit again. Some Korea-related stuff is on my website, linked in my profile. |
