I used to use the international ATM in Sinsa Station to take out my monthly costs. 1 months ago, when I went there, it was replaced by another ATM (not internationally accepting my VISA debit card).

I then went through numerous subway stations all around Gangnam with no luck at all. Went though 6 until I finally found another international ATM located in Seullong Station. I went back yesterday and WTF is this!? A Citybank ATM has replaced my beloved international ATM! I then ventured to Samseong station thinking it would definetly have one, considering it is located next to the WTC and in the middle of one of the main buisness sectors in Seoul. But no. Citybank was there and didnt seem to like my Visa Debit card either.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on!?
Also, does anyone know of any international ATM's in Gangnam (preferably around the top half of Gangnam?)
If so, do you know if its still there?

Save yourself a crapload of trouble and get a Korean bank account. If all your money is overseas then wire a decent amount of money into your Korean account and use a Korean debit card or check card.

I have to ask, how does your employer pay you without a Korean account?
I'm with the poster above me, get a Korean account.

That's the busiest neighborhood in the nation's capital with a whole lot of bank branches as well as street ATMs inside/outside convenient stores. Are you sure you checked them out all outside subway stations?

I've tried some in convience stores, but they never seem to accept my card.
I tried getting a Korean account, but because I dont have my ARC yet I couldnt. I also dont have a job for another 3 months, which is the reason I take out money once a month for expenses.
I have tried using the ones at banks, but they dont accept VISA (or my card) for some reason. If they did I wouldve been able to use the Citybank ones.
I dont understand why I cant find any in almost every subway station in Gangnam (or anywhere in Gangnam).
I'm thinking of going to Coex tomoro because they must have one, its impossible for Coex to not have one... right?

Check the KEB (NOT KB*) branches. They USUALLY have 1 that is international.

I opened a bank account with my passport only (Hana Bank). Give it a try if you can't find an Int'l ATM.
