"Not long after religious nationalists held a rally in Bat Yam under the banner of "Jewish girls for the Jewish people," a group of rabbis' wives published a letter urging Jewish women not to date Arab men."

"It just doesn't happen. It's like: 'Bring home somebody who is a total loser, but don't bring home an Arab.'"

- I guess we can't date jewish girls anymore.... Rolling Eyes

I wonder how many Jewish women are actually hooking up with Arab men in Israel anyway.

I don't suppose that those rabbinic wives would be too concerned about who I date or marry, but I wouldn't mind if he was a handsome 40-something Messianic Jew.

When they say "Arab" they pretty much mean "Muslim."

Actually I think it's good for Jews to date outside their immediate ethnic group, it cuts down on the incidence of a lot of hereditary diseases like TaySachs, which are caused by having too small of a gene pool.

I guess that would make you an anti-semite.

But don't worry.

It's in fashion this year.

Indeed. Like any self-respecting anti-semite, he's probably been reading The Guardian

I hope you were making a joke, but I don't find it very funny. Call me sensative or whatever, anti-Semitism is digusting.

And yes, I am Jewish, if you were wondering.

They should be intermingling up a storm, I say. Mix up those genes and get both sides confused on what the whole hullabaloo is.
