I got married to one of the female Korean staff at my school. I have no regrets about any of it. We kept it secret though and I would recommend you do the same... who knows what they would think about it at work. It's better to eliminate any possibility of objection by just removing it from any forum of scrutiny. In fact, noone (except for some of the foreigners) even knew about our romance until the wedding. It was pretty funny actually because some of the other Korean staff had said some funny things about me to my wife when we were dating.

You must have gone from first date to marriage very quickly. I know one thing about office?school workplaces, they are a rumour mill for gossip, somebody clicks in sooner or later.

We dated for 6 months while at the same school then I changed schools while she stayed there. We were engaged for 9 months before we got married. We were just good at teh deception! Or they were really quite daft! I'm not sure which one describes them better!!!
