While in Korea? I did the google advanced search, but didn't find anything except for people who want to buy through a Korean company. Maybe I'm silly, but I'd rather use a US intermediary.
I have a US bank account, but no US address, so anyone know what would be the best company to set up an account to buy stocks (not interested in mutual funds)? I don't plan on daytrading, but I would like a quick turnaround if I need it. I'd prefer something I can start up with $1000 and slowly build up, but I could wait a bit and start with $5000 if necessary.
* I already have a position in gold, silver and platinum, and want to diversify a bit, just to save people from recommending going in that direction. |

I'm using Firstrade. You can transfer directly from a Korean bank or set up to transfer from multiple U.S. or foreign bank accounts. |

Thanks. Anything notable about it- fees, limits etc? |
