I just heard from the news, that the doctors found two Korean Bullets in the Captain of the ship.
the government tried to cover it up, but the doctor already came clean.

they were saying, that the Korean squad who tried to look so cool and act so professional actually turns out were a bunch of amateurs and almost killed the captain, then in turn tried to blame it on the pirates..

when I first saw the news break out the night the koreans stormed the boat the first thing I noticed was the amount of damage to the ship. like hundreds and hundreds of bullets holes all over the ship.

havent they seen the movie NAVY SEALS? LOL

the reporter closed the news by saying, the Korean seals need to take notice of the French and Russians and see how its really done.

Are you serious the Russians? The Russians? It seems the Russian doctrine for hostage situations is 1) Kill Hostage Takers. 2-16) Kill Hostage Takers. 17)Rescue Hostages.

Have you even looked at the history of these operations?

As for why the Korean captain got shot, who knows maybe he was a moron and jumped into the line of fire. Entirely plausible. Or maybe one of the Korean soldiers was trigger happy. Either way it was a succesful outcome.

By that fail of logic one could say, "haven't they seen the movie Speed? Shoot the hostage." Rolling Eyes

Which is to say, movies are not a guide for hostage rescuing operations.

Figures, you're the same poster who talked about the North Korean invasion featuring legions of jeeps and those jeeps blasting through the DMZ combined with a million people somehow running across the DMZ.

For posterity's sake:

good luck stopping all of those, once the smoke clears.. the NORTH KOREAN army are on their way! do you know what 1 million troops look like running with tanks and jeeps?

EDIT- Here is the list of Russian and French hostage rescue operations. Look at the civilian casualties (killed, wounded, missing), particularly the Russians. At least read before you make a claim.

Steelrails, you forgot the part about killing two-thirds of the hostages in the process of killing the hostage takers.

Ah but the Koreans are claiming that the pirates had already shot the captain, before their commandos added the extra bullet(s). In other words, guilt is determined by bullet-order.

The outcome of the trial is a foregone conclusion obviously.

Quote:
Investigators Discover Ample Evidence To Press Charges Against the Captured Somali Pirates
"Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff corraborated that one of the bullets is likely to be a stray from navy commandos during the gun battle.

Military officials said however, by the time the Korean navy seal unit entered the bridge of the ship the captain had already fallen to the floor and the pirates were taken out afterwards.

Apparently the third bullet bounced down the stairs and turned 180 degrees before hitting the captain.

I doubt the Somalis they have in custody will hear of that little revelation.

It really stinks- to be taken half-way around the world for what is essentially a sham court.. ala Guantanamo, Julian Assange, etc

I guess Koreans are more colour blind than people on this forum think.

They were put on a boat, told to shoot all the black people and they managed to shoot one of their own.

I'm glad Koreans are becoming more progressive.
